At least the first graders at my school seem to think so. They were signing each other's autograph books and one of their teachers came down to see if I would mind signing a few. When I walked into the classroom a line of excited children quickly formed beside me and wrapped around two tables. Four classrooms and thirty minutes later I had signed my name so many times I began to get a little careless with my signature. There may be a few kids who had their books signed by "Mrs. Currrrry." Those cursive "r's" can really get away from you!
I may not make the kind of salary a celebrity makes, but being "famous" to a group of children is worth more than any money on earth.
